* This will probably be the last GH related accomplishment for a while, since I got RB2 and have no intrest in buying GH:M a week after it. Besides there's still a ton of awesome RB2 DLC I'm gonna get. This also means my Hard DLC redux is on hold (even though I was nearly finished - except for the hard songs). Who knows when I'll get to the Medium DLC redux. Even though I made the vid over a week ago, I only got to the editing part today. * I was never very good at the Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya ending, mainly the 2nd fast part. A few days ago however, I just started strumming a bit slower and became consistent with it for a little while. After a bit of work on the first alt strumming (downstrumming while using HOPOs), I FC'd Hard Rain 5 times in a row. Second real run and I nailed it. If it wasn't for ANL's invisible note, this would be my 60th FC out of the 65 DLC song, I have. If I was able to get Dream On and We Three Kings, it would have been the 62nd out of all 67 GH3 DLC songs.

Although my DLC redux is far from done on Hard (still need to redux the semi-hard to very hard songs and most of Death Magnetic), I've got some really nice ranks on PS3 and globally. I already had good rankings on PS3 due to the few real contenders but now I'm actually squeezing good. I've gained 85k on conlan, so I might retake the global 1st for all DLC songs soon (albeit for a short while, since I'm missing 2 songs and I can't get them). For now I have 6 global 1sts and probably a bunch more PS3 1sts.

* The bitch is finally down. The amount of times I choked or pre-choked on it must come close to Push Push - Lady Lightning. I know I didn't execute a few activations perfectly but I didn't expect to miss out on 4k, so I'm definitely not satisfied with the score though. I doubt I'll be replaying this soon though, so fuck it. PS: sorry for the huuuuuuuge TTFAF pic. I must have forgotten to resize it before uploading to photobucket.

* After a YT message from donovan*insert random numbers here* I decided to redux TTFAF on Medium once again. We're the only two people to have done it on PS3, so we thought that at least one of us had to get a decent score

. Although my re-FC seems to have stopped him from from trying for TTFAF, I expect an awesome DLC battle coming up on Medium.

I'm a bit too busy with reduxing the Hard DLC, so it might take a week or so before our battle can officially start. And the sensitive tilt activating actually makes it easier to tilt squeeze efficiently. I just had to change my technique a bit

* I made some GHAH vids but they really aren't that spectacular, so I didn't update my thread with them. I'll definitely update this if I get a re-FC of JPGB on vid, but I'm sick of the song at the moment. Instead I decided to play some GHWTX. I'm having a get together at my house this Saturday and that will be the game we'll mainly be playing (because of the 4 people support, not because it's the best GH game - it's probably the worst to date LOL). So to hold my reputation high (even though every attendee is a nOOb by SH standards), I decided to spend some time with GHWT this week. The result of it: The Middle FC and almost an awesome score on RETL. I'm considering putting up some fun to play GHTunes songs but want some feedback on that first.

* Probably the last GH1H vids I'll be putting up unless I can catch a break and re-FC NOK, Decontrol or Frankenstein. I reduxed AOS but my batteries went dead in the middle of the FC run, so no vid of that song. I recorded some GH:AH vids yesterday and will be putting them up in the course of the following days. I was gonna try for WTW(RDMC) but it's too much of a hassle, so I'll just drop that one. I FC'd JPGB but didn't get it on vid, so I'll redo that. BB, TKAR and Mercy went down faster than I thought but BITS is annoying me because I can't get one dumb part down (and I FC'd it 2 times out of the very first 3 times I played it). After that I'll probably stop with the vids and just focus on reduxing (in order): GH1H, GH1E, GHAM. I'll be playing some other games in the meanwhile as well, so I might put up vids of that though >_>

* Got 3 new FC's on vid. I actually recorded these and the I'll be uploading today on the same day as the FIU FC but I decided to leave some time in between, as to not oversaturate my YT channel (as I did with the shitload of Uncharted vids, I posted in less than a day). I did really good on squeezing SOD but it could have been better. I'm satisfied with YGATC but not with AOT. I'm now again at a point where I (almost) constantly FC the AOT solo but I keep fucking up that outro. Maybe I should try altstrumming it instead... More vids coming up tomorrow.

* Decided to clear the whole OP just to have more oversight and to not crash people's internet when on a 56k modem - do people still use those? I was gonna do a GH1 Easy redux, and I will but I'm more into reduxing GH1 on Hard now. I'm making a bunch of vids of the semi-hard FC's. I'm currently uploading 3 vids and will upload 3 more tomorrow. I plan on recording at least 3-4 more songs, so plenty of vids!

The one I have up now however, will probably remain the most impressive out of my GH1H vids; it's Fire It Up with the Nearly Ideal reverse squeeze on the first activation... wait for it... with tilting! I did pretty bad on the other activations but it was because I didn't want to fuck up the run (solo's very chokable in itself). Still, I really should have had 200 more on the solo activation. Oh yeah, there will be no GH3 DLC redux for a while (on Hard nor Medium). This was the reason why I hardly played for over a month and a half:

Basically, I messed up on the last gallop in the song TWICE! I didn't take a pic of the second one because I felt like snapping the GH3 disc in half at the time and my pillow got a hell of a beating. I then proceeded to carefully eject the disc, place it safely in it's box and focus on other games (mainly COD4) for the time being.

I knew I could easily get more ticks, but there wasn't enough left to be worth a replay unless someone beat me. Nice to see a little action still going on in the rankings on GH1 and GH2 easy these days.

Nice job on re-taking 2nd from rabies. I may go back to GH2 easy and improve my top 10 ranking to hopefully top 5, but I doubt I'd even contend for 2nd place.

I know where I missed squeezes in both YYZ and FTK but I'm not putting more time for 200-600 points. I do plan to improve as much of my scores and I'll definitely try for the 9th 8-star (Parasite), which only the master squeezer himself has managed to get. Should you manage to come close to my 2nd spot, I may have to reconsider though.

So a few days later and only playing 2 or 3 evenings, I've beaten most of my highscores (of the songs I've replayed this month). I won't be putting up all those pics but here are the ones I'm (kind of) proud of:

1st on Carry On Wayward Son:

2nd by a mere 16 points on Surrender:

3rd with 4 points away from Cdw on Message In A Bottle (don't even know how GameZelda managed another 56 points on top of Cdw):

2nd with 45 points away from Cdw on War Pigs. Got this score on my 1st try:

3rd and still a ways from the 8* on Parasite but I'm glad I made some of the thougher squeezes. I could probably get 200 more (missed a relatively easy one on this run) but a 9th 8* is just out of my reach:
