I disagree with everyone's activations, as I have the optimal SP...

I use the first activation a little earlier than you Suitata. Other than that, your path was the same as mine and optimal!
Now if I could just get that one magic run... I have been missing in the last hard solo... with the BYRB BO B BO B BO.... it's very frustrating. |
I disagree with your seccond to last activation, and i think me and wulfe are the only ones to figure it out so far, so i guess i will spill the beans...if you save your SP and get the next one and use it at measure 134, you wont waste any star power at the end and you will get a bunch more points |
You're right, you get 34 notes in my 2nd to last activation and 53 in yours. Thanks for the tip, I didn't notice that... Pope, quit rubbing it in :P. _________________

meh, I haven't really played this in a while, so I'll just go ahead and post the OPTIMAL SP PATH
and since you wouldn't have been able to read it, I airbrushed some super lines on. Enjoy
I still have no idea why it's so small
GREEN = SP RED = ACTIVATION

Thanks Pope. I was using something similar, but had been curious if the SP in solo 1 (BRG BRG BRG...) was worth getting cause I can. Now I know, and knowing is half the battle _________________

Thanks pope, see if I can net myself a top 10 with this...and maybe an FC
edit: and maybe photobucket is the reason it's small, they re-size large pics. |

I cannot for the life of me figure out the part of the song at measure 89 etc, that fast descending run. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! _________________

I don't exactly rock this song, but that part is not too bad.
Fret O with pinky and strum, then Y B with middle and ring fingers - no strum needed, R Y with index and middle, then shift down and do G R with index and middle again. Remember to strum the final yellow!
If changing fingers get you and you don't mind shifting up, fret O with ring finger and YB, RY and GR with index and middle, always shifting down a fret. That way the fingers can just repeat a pattern.
I usually hit notes more accurately with my left hand when I strum as well, so I usually strum the first notes of the "HO pairs". |

This is pope's path, conveniently re-formatted so you can actually see it. All credit for this path goes to popemobile:

Yes, but who wrote the large half? I really need to FC this song. And with this new Star Power (is that what it's called?) I shall take over the power of Sparda and become a New God!
Back on track, any advice on getting the fast :'s? I'm practicing Verse 3D on Inst. a lot lately and I about have the fast 's down. I was just wondering if there are any *special* techniques, like overhand playing, involved. |

You might want to post further questions in the Technique/Gameplay section, but what I do is hold down green with the pointer finger and tap the blue and red with my ring and middle finger, respectively. If it feels more comfortable to swap your pinky with your ring finger, then go ahead. _________________
