I'm really playing on hard, but I'm betting I'll get more attention here...

My issue with this song is hitting the three choruses, strangely enough. It seems like the first one goes by without a hitch, but when making the transition into the "I'm not crazy! Institution!" part, I often slip on the second chorus and *always* on the third one. Are these parts actually different? I tried playing them in practice and they look the same, but they still didn't play the same. What gives?

If anyone happens to be having trouble with the triplet part, it's easy once you shift back and forth.

GY YB GY (shift up) RB BO RB (shift back down) GY YB GY (shift back up) etc.

Exactly, it took me a while to figure it out (slowest on practice), but now that parts really easy. The hardest part is transferring from the slower part that builds up to the chorus into those chords without breaking streak.

There is a tempo change from the first section of the chorus to the second section.

Never use it during slow parts, play through the song one time to know where SP phrases are in the chorus and don't miss any of those.

I use 4-3-2-1-2, but I am the absolute worst at SP Paths, so take it for what it's worth.

Obviously if you can hit some of those solos you'll want to use em there sometimes, but my path pretty much focuses on getting all the easy stuff under x8.

I've been using 2-2-3-2-3, which is basically 4-3-2-1-2 with two changes:

(2) if you trigger ASAP after the first 2 SPs, you can use it on all the 16th notes and have it run out right when the next SP phrase starts.

(2) whammy fully and use in the first chorus, before the next SP phrase starts.

(3) the third SP is right at the start of the 2nd verse, followed by the triplets.

(2) you should be able to get 2 more SPs by the middle of the 2nd chorus. Trigger ASAP and you'll finish before the next SP at the end of the chorus.

(3) You can split these 1-2 if you like, but since I screw up so much of the 3rd verse, I tend to save all three (basically a full SP bar) for the end chorus, where I can get a good streak going.

I have no idea if this is optimal (I still suck at the verses), but it seems like a pretty good path. As it stands, I generally shoot for 100k per verse/chorus; if I'm averaging 70K, I'll usually just start over.

What the hell was I thinking?

I can't keep a combo going in the verses, so starting out with 2-2 wasn't doing much for my scores. But using a 4-3-2-3 pattern and nailing all three choruses, I tacked 45k on to my score and jumped 60 spots.

I'm in 3rd with the 2-2-3-2-3, and that's with me missing the 16th notes near the beginning, and some other parts too.

It's not that I can't own this song, it's just that this song really takes a serious toll on my hand.

I'm kind of retarded when it comes to drawing them, but here goes.

Not too sure where the fourth activation ends (whammying and all that jazz), but that should be right.
