You guys are making that section way too freaking hard for yourselves (G GR G GR)
PLAY 8TH NOTES instead of the very weird rhythm that it actually plays....it works _________________

Keep your fingers on the upper 4, reach with your index to get the green. If you can play RYBOBYR, then adding a green to the beginning of it isn't a big deal.
And the R-RG stuff is really not that hard. If you're screwing it up, you're out-thinking yourself. Yes, it takes some practice, but it's not actually hard. I think the G-G R-R B-B Y-Y B-B Y-Y G-G R-R is harder.
Curiously, though, outside of the solo, the part I'm having the most trouble with is the actual verses. I can hit everything at some point, but putting it all together has been a real struggle for me, especially the RB-Y-RB-Y-RB-Y-GR. I do have one other part that's bothering me and I would appreciate some fingering advice though: How do you get the part right before the solo? GY-RB-YO-GY-GR-GY. I can never get that YO note...then again, I'm also the guy who has ranted about how much Caveman Rejoice pisses me off too. |

I'm curious how many points you need to get a 5 star for this song? I've made it to 193035 so far. Just wondering how much further I have to strive.
thanks |

The answer is: 221871.
For future reference, the answer to this and other related questions can be found on this (and related) pages. (Song Stats -> All Cutoffs -> Expert, from the main menu on the front page).

i use a slightly different path than echelar's, here's mine:
My No One Knows SP Path
Can someone check if it's right because it might be bad because since I was close to FC the song i have a high score on this song but have a feeling it could be better. I'm currently in 15th place to my recollection, an FC would bring me up much higher though |

This chart is from Need4speeds 4th place video. Don't know if it is the same strat. Ech used. Looks good to me though. Thurman, sorry dude this path is about 11 notes better.
Video had a nice grainy quality to it, very artistic cinematography, so I think I'm close on the start points.

2-2-3-2-5
2 - Y note measure 36
2 - Squeeze any chord in the chorus
3 - chart shows where he started. I wonder if activating 2 beats later on a chord would get a chord squeeze at the end.
2 - once again I tweaked this from the vid to get a chord sqqueeze.
5 - 5 rapid sp's with whammy, oh the humanity. 2nd BR chord meas 176 gets the squeeze _________________

dont have to apologize, was just wondering, seeing this path seems to be much better though, guess ill try it and maybe get an FC this time
EDIT: ok, so I just tried the new path but i overstrummed once again but it was in a hold during the solo, it was retarded, but ive moved up from 15th place to 12th with a score of 346,907. about 1k better. not sure how much points an overstrum costs in a hold but i assume its from 3k-7.5k |

Nice to see some folks still reading the GH1 stuff. good job on the almost 350K thing. I'm still below 250K on this one. If only the playing part was as easy as counting notes..............................
Wow over 100K still in this egads I'm mediocre. _________________
