you mean the note track from the actual music?
hmmm..now that you mention it, there are a couple parts in the song where I often miss and I am not sure why....but I just thought that was my lack of skillz. |

Yes..this is the part I was thinking about when I mentioned it above. I am glad I am not the only one. I keep breaking combo there and I don't know why. It frustrates me. |

i just strum a little bit ahead. the weird thing is, it gets back in time at the beginning of the slow part. |

It's weird cuz the slow part's first note matches up exactly and it doesn't sound like it's too soon before the end of the out of sync part. o___O I still haven't decided if it's just very weird or very out of sync. |

I noticed the same thing, and found that speeding up a little and playing just ahead of the beat seems to work.
Has anyone been able to get an isolated SP off the single phrase right before the solo? I'd like to do 2-2-1-2, but haven't been able to pull it off, so I've been doing 2-3 instead, getting a long SP through the solo at the expense of the last 2 SPs. |

I'm not sure if you can. Each of the notes would need to be hit 1/4 beat early.(It's only 7 beats of whammy and you need 7.5) _________________

FWIW, what I eventually settled on was a 2-3-2 format, where I cut the 5th SP off a little early so I get the max out of the solo without sacrificing the 6th and 7th SPs. It took a few tries to get the hang of the timing, but it got me 7th place the other night. |

yes, that is by far the right way to do this star path. If you want a little help for timing the 2nd star power activation: its a little earlier than half way through the 3 note chord..what you really need is yer SP bar to be at about half full when the three note chord ends |

Thank God. I am not crazy!
Those notes (the ones before the slow part) are definately not synchronized with the track. Downside of master tracks? Or poor testing/QA? _________________

Whoever set up the BPM changes for this song screwed up for those few measures, and decided to just make it right at the start of the slow part. |
