I think Jordan and Six are the two hardest songs in GH2, for very different reasons. Jordan isn't that bad until the insane break + solo; Six has lots of tough parts throughout, so it'll take a much more consistent effort to 5-star it, not just getting through one part. |

I just played this song for the first time today. Failed 3 times, then took it into practice mode on slow. Beat it next time through without using any star power... spent lots of time in the red though.
This song is crazy! I like it though. |

It drives me nuts that I spend this entire song in the red. I've tried it in practice mode and can 100% the main riff on slowest and slower, but I'm about 85% on slow and around 60% on normal. I did beat it on my second try, but only passed it one more time. The riff is just way too fast for me to even think about the notes I have to hit.
Once I figure out how to pass the solo in Jordan I have a feeling this will be the song that will haunt my days. _________________

I like to think of myself as a really good down-strummer, as in I have a lot of stamina for it and can down strum pretty quick for a long time...but this song actually feels like my arms catching fire...its ridiculous.
So I've been trying to alt strum a lot of the song...but I always seem to miss the parts that have SP =P...EVERYTIME...I don't have a problem passing the song, but I usually can't hit SP, and when I do hit SP I can't keep a damn combo...it's driving me nuts. _________________

I OWN the solo on this song, but I can't get the main riff for anything. I've ran it through practice mode a few times, but to no avail... Still haven't 4*'d and remains 1 of only 3 songs I haven't at least 4*'d yet (Jordan, Misirlou and this). _________________

Do you guys seriously down strum the whole thing (besides the beginning and end of course)? Thats rediculous, I thought I was crazy. _________________

I 5*'d this last night, w00t. Only Jordan remains. /shudder.
After playing Six so many times, I finally fell into a pattern where I gave up on the main riff with the B and Y notes, and alt-strummed it to save my arm. Instead, I saved that energy to downstrum the sections where it was just GR-GR-G-G-GR-GR-GG and build up some big combos to use with SP. Hitting most of the SP sections is key; if I missed any of the early ones, I'd just start over.
Also, I had a second 5-star score in the 156k range, which would put the cutoff in the 153k-156k range (edit, 256k, I'm a noob.) I'll see if I can find the pic later.
