Is it weird that this song is the last song I have to 5* in the main setlist and I'm not even coming close?

nope. its not weird at all. this song is just damn retarted. so this is the last song for your log? alright!!! i'll try and attempt to help you. what you should do is go to practice mode, and choose the first three sections of the song (intro, verse 1, chorus 1. i might be wrong for the section names but you get the idea) keep doing the sections over on one of the slower speeds until you get a basic idea of what notes to hit. then do it full speed, and try to get at least a 90% or higher. then do that for the rest of the sections, mainly the solos (unless you can't get down that damn chorus), and keep practiceing them. then try the full song on full speed and try to get 88% or higher and it should be good for a five star if you use a good SP path.

thats how i did it. practice mode really helps a lot. i didn't use an SP path from here, but i made my own which was WAAAAAAAY different than pope's path, and mine was hard to do so it took me about a forty minutes. if you use pope's path and practice mode how i showed you before, you could get it in 20 minutes maybe.

if you can't read the notes well enough to get the 5*, i don't recommend it but try the hyperspeed code. i didn't use it myself because i think it takes away the challenge in songs, but if you are in need of the five star then go for it. i went from a score of 77 000 all the way to a 175 000 in less than an hour. it all takes practice. i hope i helped in some way

I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but have any of you found it harder to hit the RB - YO when you activate SP? I can only seem to hit it without SP...but it may just be me since I look away from the screen during this section. Watching the chords fly by just makes me lose my multiplier.

If you want to see the optimal SP in action, check my video page. It's from Pope, but it's a different path than what he posted for this thread. I would give the link, but I'm posting this at school where they blocked YouTube.

Wierd. That SP path is taking away 3 SPs.

Well, since he has the #1 spot, I'll post the SP path. This SP path was derived from Legleg's video, and the chart was made by me:

Thanks, Armageddon. But for the first activation, you need to squeeze and/or whammy as much as possible or else you will miss a chord or two. In fact, I squeezed everything except for the second activation, where I tilted instead.

Yeah, I know. My chart just states, quite specifically IMO, where to activate SP and generally how long it will last. I didn't include squeezing in the chart, it was just a general guideline. I am grateful for your video though .

Wow, I just looked at Legleg's SP and my path that I just kind of threw together while playing the song is EXACTLY the same TO THE NOTE, except for the last activation which I did earlier because I couldn't do the ending before.

That's always a nice feeling XD

I still don't think it's possible. It requires 8 Raw Dog whammy. 1 Raw Dog whammy is hard enough on Raw Dog.
