Exactly how fast are the triplets in the solo?
Like could anybody compare it to another song? _________________

Faster than Misirlou :P... 16th note triplets... there is no way in hell that you're gonna be able to get 100% consistently lol... I really don't have a comparison... except maybe Jordan Solo B... I'd have to play them consecutively and see the comparison... but the closest thing I can come up with...
My SP path is 1-2-2-2-1... Once I know the exact math and stuff, I'll post what it looks like... because I don't think that 2-3-2-1 is optimal... because you can whammy for more than 3/4 bar on the first SP phrase, so you lose some SP... but that's just my opinion... don't know the math _________________

Jordan Solo B: 32nd notes at 116 BPM = 15.467 notes per second
Beast and the Harlot Solo D: 24th notes at 155 BPM = 15.5 notes per second
So the two speeds are very close, with Beast and the Harlot's triplets being slightly faster. Both are faster than Misirlou and slower than Trogdor.
If you are using SP through the solo (thus going for a FC), 2-3-2-1 is optimal, period. If you are avoiding the solo and waiting for the next verse to use SP, the two paths are roughly equivalent, with 1-2-2-2-1 edging out 2-3-2-1 by about one note if all the squeezes are hit. _________________

Is it really? I've been using 1-2-2-2-1 forever now... 2-3-2-1 just seems like a waste of SP, but I'll try it with 2-3-2-1 and see how the score reflects. Of course, I'll have to first do good in the song (as in like a -5 run or something) and beast Solo D... We'll see if my rank can move up a couple *hopes* _________________

So, im assuming that the last phrase, the one in the last chorus, is pretty much useless in every path, correct? _________________

Yes. The 2nd to last phrase gives you a full bar on its own, and the last phrase does not give you enough SP to activate, so it is completely useless. _________________

So what is the last phrase for? Co-op? They should have added another phrase or something. |
