I passed this song many times on expert. The best I got was a 3 star, 127k, and I think 87%. I don't know how someone FC'ed this song. It'll be a cold day in hell before I can even get 100% on this song.

I just finished 5*ing this song on expert. My advice to anyone just trying to get the five star is to follow the following point suggestions and star power path (so you don't have to play the song all the way through every time). This isn't optimal but works and is not difficult to pull off and will get you the bare minimum for 5*

Use a half-bar three seconds after the last boost

You will want about 70,000 points by the end of the first break

Use a half-bar directly after you obtain the last boost

Collect all the SP you can and use at the RRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRYYYYYY... after the 3 chord boost. You should have 120,000 before you activate and played marginally you should have about 150,000-160,000 when your SP is over and Break 2 begins

Activate again just before the YB chords at the end of the song

This should be enough to get you a five star and can be done quite easily

When I tried downstrumming only I got easier combos than with altstrumming :/ Although my total score is reverse, 90000 78% with downstrum vs 132000 91% with altstrum

Of course you can't. You're playing on a dualshock.

Your misses are spread roughly evenly throughout the song, so you aren't keeping a combo and rarely have a multiplier.

Weelll, any tips on beating it? I can't. At all. FUCK IT!! I just need to practice.......It's still really fucking hard!!! 32nds??!!!

Try turning the controller around and pressing the L's and R's as you usually do with the X button... It worked for me once, but then I realized that I was on the quick play mode, not on the career mode.

Also it takes A LOT of pratice, but is cheaper than a guitar controller

16ths. The tempo is just really fast

espically if the guitar doesnt down strum at all! Which means I will have to strum twice as fast as everyone else, if that is even humanly possible.

It feels to me like the strumming speeds are slightly different is some places. I cant tell for sure. Do they change?

And misirlou is my last song left to 5 star with my best at 196K, so any help is much needed.

is it possible to get 5* on this with normal ps2 controller, without the turbo function? i didnt even manage with turbo!

i dont have a guitar controller, and i feel like i need it to get 5 stars in the remaining songs (tattooed love boys [4*], beast and the harlot [4*] and misirlou [3*]) for the log

i pass misirlou by pressing the button once every two 32nd note strums, twice every three and four 32nd note strums, and getting star power in places which leave it possible to get to the end...but i dont know if there is a different way to use star power, to get high points, and also manage to pass the song

i get around 130000 points i think, but im pretty sure im going to need a guitar controller to get 4 or 5 stars
