Play-asia will ship the game "on or before Oct 30" which in the worst case means the game will arrive on Monday Nov 5 (give or take a day). On the other hand, if they ship it on Monday it might arrive on Oct 30-31 *really really keeping my hopes up*  .

I'm thinking it's going to be around the 9th (give or take a few days). That way if it comes any earlier I'll be over the moon  |

I've ordered games twice before from play-asia.com - and the delivery time was about 5 or 6 days both times.
If it's shipped today it might be Friday 2nd at the very earliest, I would think more like 5th or 6th of Nov is realistic. That is unless you went for the more expensive delivery option (EMS Speedpost, etc) in which case you might get it in 2-3 days after it's been sent out.

And that's still way better than the EU release date of 23rd Nov 
I'm getting it for wii, so I'm forced to wait unfortunately... boo

Yeah I would say that too, but I usually like to be quite negative when I look at things like that so there's less chance of being disapointed  |

Where did you see it? in the order details? What does backorder mean?
