a couple things....the GH3 guitar fucking sucks balls...the buttons arent anything like they were explained....the strum is terrible....i would rather play with the piece of shit GH2 wireless than this...all the forums i read said the guitar was amazing...its the biggest piece of shit ever

I got it for 360 and it came with an X-Plorer. I don't get it, I thought it came with those wireless Les Pauls.

So.... first thoughts: (very brief as I wanna get into it more)

-Gameplay is great. It's fun, and I love the note streak counter. I'm not a fan of the HUD in general however. Multiplayer modes are cool, especially coop career, but the whole powerup vs thing is a little too Super Mario Brothers for me. Still, it's something some people will like, and there's really no reason not to have it.

-Character design is where the game fails. Johnny Napalm looks like he's sixty, the new Elvis-wannabe is such a waste of a character slot, and Midora's nothing special either. Not that I'm saying they shouldn't be there at all, but to drop classic characters and put these in place of em' isn't cool. That, and the singer is frickin' ugly.

Overall, it delivers what we want: New songs and fun gameplay. But honestly, I think I'll probably just reverse-port the songs to the GH2 engine once the formats are cracked.

***DISCLAIMER --- I only own the PS2 version. I've seen vids of 360 gameplay, but nothing right there in front of me, so my opinions might be based to the PS2 port. It might look better on other systems. (But I'd assume it's really just gonna be a current-gen / next-gen difference)
