God...help me. You guys....help me. I can hit roughly 50-51% of the notes using my whole hand and 54% using my index finger and moving up and down madly.

Ugh I'm having an extremely tough time with it too. There was another topic about it though.. check there you might find some tips. So far no luck for me using their tips though.

I took the song into practice once on full speed and played the song all the way through. I failed it 5 times before I did that and the next live play through I passed it fairly easily. I dunno if seeing the whole song helped or if I psyched myself out or what, but all I know is that shit can stay 3 stars, lol.

I don't really have much else that can help you. I may have gotten lucky.

I seriously think I'm never going to beat this song. I cruised through expert 5 staring everything pretty much first try. As soon as I get to the song boom...i fail at 30 something percent always. I can hit the majority of the first 4 decending scales but everything after that I just miss. Every note miss miss miss miss. So annoying.

Weird.. I have no problem with this song at all. Beat it my first try and I found mosh really easy.

this song is so horrible, i cant believe the guitar hero people actually put raining blood in this game, it really makes me not want to play this game ever again. ITS JUST A BUNCH OF NOISE!!!!!! worst song ever....

What worked for me was keep pinky over the orange and index on red.
Ignored green.
And id bring the pinky down, strum the orange, and drum my fingers down to the index on red, and then for it again. even though Im hitting orange again and there isnt one, i managed to time it to the ring finger would come down on blue and keep the rhythm fine.
so just strum43214321...43214321....43214321..
And then occasonial downstrum ever 2-3 notes for good measure so if i broke hopo id be ok.
Then just keep in mind theres them chords and lone Y to hit.

After giving up on Greens and doing that method, I go past mosh once, lost on the solo cuz overstrumming in a panic.
2nd time passed the whole song.
Starpower helps in the mosh a lil bit, but I was in the yellow when I used it to be safe, but other times I got damn without the SP before i even got that timing down.
NO sp whatsoever for the rest of the song and I had no prob.

just play the mosh part in practice til you get it down, star power through the rest if you cant get it. i was failing it until i took it to practice and after practice i beat it next try

The timing seems to be weird as well, I can get that first star power like every time, but then I'll fall apart sometimes even though the notes seem to be the same. It's a deceitfully tricky song and I absolutely love it.

Nod, the elation I felt when getting passed mosh the first time was only beaten by the elation I passed mosh the 2nd time when I beat the solo without SP.
Song likes a 1 trick pony.
Mosh scares the hell out of you and I didnt even need SP for the solo when I relaxed and just did the trills.
No need to mention I missed every damn SP up to the solo, but I didnt need it ;)
