First of all - the game is awesome, and I have no complaints. People who complain about it being too easy aren't taking into account that they have 2-3 years of practice. Song choices are awesome - no complaints there either. However, is it just me, or is anyone else's inner forearm on their strumming side terribly sore from resting against the corner of the guitar? The PS2 SGs had a rounded edge, but these Les Pauls have a comparatively sharp corner, and it's pretty uncomfortable after prolonged use.
Not really a complaint - more an observation and hoping someone else feels my pain - literally and figuratively. _________________

No, it's definitely due to really poor design with the faceplates. They aren't tapered at the edge, which causes it to really dig into your wrist. This has been affecting my work today, which is really rather unacceptable. I tried using a couple different hand positions, but those were either extremely uncomfortable or caused my play to screw up royally.
So I think I'll be putting some foam over the edge, which is really, really ridiculous to have to do, since it's going to make my guitar look like crap.
Not that how the controller looks means anything >_>

thats one of my complaints too. gameplay rules though.
oh, and star power activation seems WAY to sensitive to me. sometimes ill just be playing ttfaf and my fingers are moving sideways really fast and ill activate it, and a couple times i wasnt moving at all and the guitar was barely tilted. |

I actually have been considering the exact same thing. If you come up with a good solution, don't keep it secret. _________________

Where a wristband, but put it wherever you arm is hitting the guitar, easiest solution there. _________________

Same problem. For a quick ghetto solution, I placed a padded bandage on the part of the guitar my arm rested on. By that point, my arm was already aggravated, so I'm not sure if it helped. |

I noticed that this morning when I returned my Xplorer bundle. I'm thinking Dremel sander tool will solve it. |

Wristband people. You probably have one laying around u're house or apt somewhere, and if not, its like $5 at the most. I actually wore a wristband for the xplorer as well, but its CRUcial for the LP! _________________
