You guys want a chat room?

If you guys wanted, I could host a chat room on the server I run. I don't actually 'own' it, but I'm a network admin and I'm the founder of the only real channel on the server, so it's pretty much mine. :P

Anyway, if that seems like a good idea, let me know and I can get it set up.

Thanks for the offer, the idea sounds good.

But for this kind of site I think the forums are good enough for communication. Since people always come and go at different times, I think it's easier to just read up on anything new and post if you feel like it. That way everyone's involved and no one misses anything.

Also according to my records, the most users that have ever been on the forums at one time is 7, while most of the time theres only 0 to 2. So the chat room wouldn't serve much purpose until we start seeing more action anyways.

However, if you're reading this and you really want a chat room, let me know and we can set it up if there's enough demand.

Next time I see JC I'll see if we can get an irc chan going. Probably #scorehero on gamesurge.

I think the chat room would add value to the community in that it's easier to communicate with anyone you want. Maybe people would want to step in and say hi to ES or Krim and ask them how they rock so much. Whatever the case, it sounds like fun.
