It is so sweet. The motion control is great.
If you have one, post your Wii address and name here and we can get like a SH group going on or something. _________________

I got a Wii. I think the motion controls are great as well. I can see this being great for sports games in the future.
My Wii Number is: 8285 8424 6531 2541

all the games look sweet, especially Zelda but i've always been worried that any games requiring any kind of accuracy would be really hard and frustrating with the motion sensor control. _________________

The controls are really simple to use, and the packaged game(Wii sports) really helps you get a hang of the controls.
The motion sensing might seem a little wonky at first, but that is to be expected since everyone has been playing with buttons for years... but after about 5 to 10 minutes, nothing feels as relaxing as playing a game without your hands bundled on your crotch.
The precision is not a problem as long as you properly set up the sensor bar. In the manual it explains how to do it exactly, so no worries there.
I havnt played Zelda yet(couldnt find it at launch) but I have Marvel Ultimate Alliance and the controls are really good on there. Nothing feels better than to be playing as spiderman, and just holding B and thrusting the remote forward to shoot the webs. :-D
I've actually been ignoring GH since this came out. *Hugs his SG*
Edit: I'll be putting my info in here once my son is done with the TV. _________________

Yes, I got one. It's awesome!
Where do you get your Wii Address? I'm usually not stupid with these kind of things but I just looked for like 10 minutes to no avail.
Got it: Wow that's kind of an obscure place to store that info:

I impulse bought a Wii last night. Kind of didn't want to because I don't really like buying something for just one game, but hopefully a lot more games come out that are absolutely awesome. I'll get my Wii address up later when I'm by a TV. |

Tsk tsk...
I'm first in line at my local HMV, but like Genga said, the 8th is like 2 weeks away... Zelda, Sports and Play should be awesome fun though.
And in a completely unrelated topic, my young sister has decided to get Bully for Xmas! I didn't have to encourage her too much, i thought i'd never get to play it. |
