Yeah, I whammy the first phrase, activate on the yellow, and still don't get starpower. I am gonna try not whammying the first phrase.

To help, this is what I do, in the first SP phrase I flick the whammy ever so lightly (the lightest you can) on each of the long

notes ONCE. Don't whammy from there, on the third activation, I put in an early squeeze on the last

of the phrase (don't wait for it to hammer on) and as soon as I have strummed, I activate as fast as I can, if you flicked your whammy too hard, you might have to strum the first note of the next SP a little late, orelse. This is how I do it, I fail to see why it wouldn't get you the extra ticks.

Ok, I am not sure about this yet (I havent had a chance to play since I thought of this) but I think that if you whammy like CRAZY and squeeze it out, you could get 200 more points in the first activation. I think (I could be wrong about this) that if you whammy everything fully up until the last

sustain in the 3rd SP phrase, then you can squeeze in the second

and the last

sustain and still have enough to make it through. I know that this makes you lose that SP phrase, but I think with all of the whammying, it is at least theoretically possible. Could someone try this out (I will do my best

)

It isn't possible. There isn't nearly enough whammy there to make up for the two-measure loss of SP you'd be losing by cutting the third phrase short.

I tried whammying the first phrase to miss the star power and got around 281k.

This path is definately optimal... as far as scores go, anything over 280K pretty much means you used the path with some minor mistakes, most likely the second activation.

ok, i'm stuck at 289879..... anyone know how to get ANY more ticks???

i've tried over and over and over, and i just can't squeeze any more ticks... bjorn, i believe, got 2 more ticks under sp? anyone know the secret, cuz i must be doing something wrong.....?
