To hit the last double squeeze, you would need to hit the first note a 16th late and the last note a 16th early.
The score you would get for hitting both normal squeezes and getting no ticks at the end is 277522. People have gotten 277558 (with proof), which means they got 36 points in ticks from the last hold, or 9 extra ticks. There are 25 ticks per beat, so in order to get that many ticks, they are hitting the note about 9/25 of a beat late, which is more than a fourth of a beat (a 16th note). So that number of ticks being possible should imply the last double squeeze is possible. _________________

I tried about 10 times for the last double squeeze....not gonna happen (for me, at least.)
I even missed late a few times and still didn't come near the range of getting it in. I'd love to see a video of someone getting that. |

When trying to squeeze ticks during the last activation I've noticed that it makes a difference how early you play the ending sustain. In other words GH3 apparently has "early ticking" the same way that previous GH games have "early whamming".
So if we assume that the ticking starts right after you play the note, this is what I get when I calulate. Getting no ticks at the end actually gives you 277526 points (at least on 360). And you can get 277566 points (which I believe is optimal, I've gotten it myself and I don't see any more points comming from the last squeeze) with ticks. So 40/4 = 10 extra ticks. 5 ticks from hitting the first note late and 5 from hitting the last early (this is my personal guess of how it works in GH3).
So 5/25 or one fifth of a beat would be very close to the timing window in GH3, which isn't enough to make the squeeze. |

Just so you know...double posts are frowned upon, just edit your post next time instead of making a new one...
Back on topic...you are missing about 14 notes under star power and the only way I can think of missing 14 notes is that you aren't whammying enough on the first two activations, resulting in missing 4 tri-chords and activating two notes late on the last activation...giving you 14 notes not under star power which is the 2800 you're missing... _________________

That's odd.
I overwhammied, and didn't squeeze, and still managed to get 273k, and overshot the last _________________

I just got 275k with the 3-3 path, with the second activation being at the end of the GR hold. It's a lot easier to execute, but the 3-3-2 path should yield more points if done properly. |

So, the correct path is definetly:
3- Next Note
3- Whammy all, Next Note
2- Whammy all, Last Green in M.90
That is a question not a statement... _________________
