my current SP path for Mauvais Garcon is 0-0-0-0. You read that right. I have yet to make a run through this song and hit a Star Power. I've hit one phrase each time I've played it and it's always a different phrase. I think I'm doomed to suck at this song.

This doesn't have anything to do with star power, but you can drastically improve your score for this song if you don't strum with the skippy beat of the song. GH3 has such a wide window for when you can hit notes that you can just strum it evenly, instead of so darn jumpy. I thought I'd try it just to see and it a lot easier to play, and it got me an extra 40,000+ points.

wait...i followed the screwed up path that was listed at the top...How many more points can i get from the correct path?

If by "screwed up path listed at the top" you mean my path, there are no points left unless you double squeeze. My path is basically the same as debr's "40% squeeze" path (and should get you 429648 points), but the activations are placed in positions which are likely easier to execute. According to debr's upper bound path, there should be exactly 1000 points left to be gotten from double squeezes, namely an extra 3-chord in the first activation and an extra chord in the second activation, and only the best squeezers would have a chance of getting those.

I'll add that the top score overall on this song as of now is 430248, which corresponds to my path plus the next YBO chord in measure 33, or to debr's 60% squeeze path.

Wouldn't it be better to move the activation at the end of measure 57 to the

chords? This allows for some squeezing.

Thats a great path barbaloot... would get me like 6th place if i could fc this damn thing... whoever thought that mauvais garcon was a good song for guitar hero deserves to die. I mean cmon we couldve had acdc soad or godsmack or someone that is actually good but no we got this. Its worse than yes we can, and yes we can has a fuckin whistle solo in it i mean cmon.

For some reason, the screen looks as if I hit the first squeeze 90 percent of the time, but I've only gotten it once, and I missed after getting it.

This is my take on the scores with good knowledge of the path.
429248- Pretty easy-no squeezes necessary.
429648- Slightly harder- squeeze one double note into the 2nd SP
Higher- very hard. Does anyone have tips to help me hit the first squeeze?
