|
|
I made some changes to the way cookies are stored and your old ones will no longer work.
This change allows you to switch between these forums and the ScoreHero Rock Band forums without having to login again and topics will no longer be "marked as read" all the time. Sorry for the inconvenience, it was the only way to make cookies compatible across the domains.
Note: If you're having this problem, you will need to delete cookies for scorehero.com, www.scorehero.com, and rockband.scorehero.com, if they exist. _________________

For some of those less computer-oriented, heres a guide on how to delete cookies directly from microsoft support:

lol, I was just about to go to bug reports to let people know to clear their cookies if they had trouble logging in... guess that was already the announced solution :P.
Well if anyone is using Firefox the way to do it is to go to Tools --> Clear Private Data... then check the "Cookies" box. Make sure to uncheck everything else so that you don't lose your cache and passwords and stuff. This cleared it up for me... hopefully this helps. _________________

Even easier (at least in terms of not losing your cookies for other sites): Tools --> Options... --> Privacy tab --> Show Cookies... then scroll down and click on the scorehero.com folder and click the "Remove Cookies" button. Repeat for rockband.scorehero.com if necessary. _________________

I tried deleting all my cookies, but it still wouldn't let me log in. I then tried deleting all my browsing history (IE7 user), and that did the trick. _________________

Thank you SO much! That's exactly what happened to me. _________________

Maybe this should be on the front page of the Rock Band site too because I didn't notice it right away because I was over there. _________________

Ok, now I can't login on the main page but I can on the forums by following instructions from microsoft to make sure there weren't any text files. _________________
