ok, heres my problem. I can't seem to keep a combo throughout the beginning of The Beaking Wheel on Hard/Expert. What sort of strum speed should i be using to maintain it, cuz my fingering is right, i just can't get the speed down.

took me for ever to ***** this on both hard and expert, it's mostly just the same strumming speed throughout, except for the slower parts as you know, but experiment with different strum speeds, and when you think you have one that works stick with it, you'll eventually be able to combo them all together. But use SP when the green comes, and then swithces to the other ones, and then goes back to rapid green, i hope you know what i'm talking about

it seems to me that the first part
(expert)

GGGOOOYYRRBB

is slower than the part that goes

GGGOOOYRB

so i speed up once i get there
after that, i watch the lines and how close together the notes are,
and eventually, i got 100%

It has a really stupid beat and it makes me disgruntled. It seems slower in the beginning too, and that is why I can never get it down. I would suggest using the VGSPlayer 1.2 and putting the clicker on and learning it on there before going for the 100%.

sad part is, right now i'm not even going for the 100%, i'm just going fore the five-star. i just have to be able to get like 5-6K more out of the beginning and the end, and i'll be totally kosher

another weird part is that sometimes the drums and other parts of the band come in before the guitar at the transition in between the parts:

GGGOOOYYRRBB to GGGOOOYRB

you might find it easier to turn either the band off or the guitar off.

Played this for the first time today and got a 5*! I think it was a fluke... I'm afraid to play it again! It felt like I was going to break the controller!

Yeah, I'm sure it took tons of practice, but I'm still impressed. Hitting over 1000 notes in a row without cracking under pressure is pretty amazing. Especially considering I can barely get the timing down of the beginning notes.

well youre right, it took me 1000 tries before i realized that i was missing a tempo change, and i was screwing up every time at the same spot. it was after the part that goes

G G GY RY G G GY RY....

then theres the triplets that go

GGGYYYRRRBBBYYYOOOBBBOOOGGGYYYRRRBBBYYYOOOBBBOOO

and there a tempo change right in there somewhere and i never got it, or the

RRRRRRRRORRBRRYR after it.
im also surprised that i got 100% on expert before hard
