Quote: | You can still activate SP if you get it by virtue of enough whammying (and theres lots of whammyable SP in LTMR so it should be possible). |
Aren't all the Whammy SP notes at the end of phrases though? So you'd need to collect the phrase to start whammying.
I haven't looked at the chart, so correct me if i'm wrong, but i can only remember one note that isn't at the end of a phrase. And that's not enough for a half bar. |

I love that Carry Me Home is getting the most votes for A. it'll mean that I only have 4 songs next week, since I've already promised myself I'd never play that song again. >_>
As for my own votes... I'm thinking all the leagues need something fun to play, so I'm going with fun over challenge (I'm sure something will pop up nasty anyways for each)
B League: Misirlou
A League: Them Bones
AA League: Stop
AAA League: FTK
Twists (not attached to any one song, placed at random):
B League: Muted (No Sound)
A League: Lowest Passing Score
AA League: No SP Usage
AAA League: No HO/PO allowed (All notes strummed) |

I checked it and you are correct. Theres actually two phrases with whammyable notes, but theres only 12 beats total, so yeah it wouldnt work for LTMR.
I edited my post and changed the song to "Mother" which has lots of whammyable non last note parts, plus should be easy enough that it will really turn into a competition to see who can squeeze the best and who has the best placement of the combo breaks in the SP phrases (remember that if you have SP up through the start of a phrase then you can get through it with not breaking combo because the SP itself will prevent you from picking up the phrase, so the strategy would become the opposite of a usual SP strat - you want to have your SP use overlap as many SP sections as possible perhaps). |

Six was already done the first week, and it was actually the poll winner if I remember right.
I forgot to mention this for this week, but it is the same as last week. Songs that have been played previously are out for voting for that particular league. I will allow it in if it gets voted for with a twist on it. SO an easy way out for you Barfo would be to say Six (no SP) or something like that.
I think that was the only case of that (I think I saw arterial black for AA, which we are doing this week, but it had a no SP twist on it as well. |

Looks we'll have a clear winner for A and AAA, but B and AA need more votes.
Because I am completely unoriginal I voted for the current highest voted song.
B - Freebird (No SP)
A - Carry Me Home (No SP)
AA - Stop
AAA - FTK |

About twists: are general twists and song specific twist votes tallied seperate?
For example, in the AAA, since 2 have had song specific twists of Performance, will those count as two votes for that being their twist this week on a random song? Or likewise, since someone put No HO/PO for LTMR and I voted No HO/PO in general, is that 2 votes for the twist?
Basically, I'm asking if song specific twists count as twist "votes" even if that specific song/twist combination don't win the poll? _________________

Yes, if I see others wanting a specific twist used (most seem to like no SP), then it definitely goes into consideration when figuring out the twist used on the random song. It's by no means concrete, but it definitely gives me some sort of feedback for these on what people want to see/try. |

Expert AA: FTK. And YYZ if I'm allowed to vote for two songs. I don't really know how this works.
I like Trogdor performance mode for the twist song. No SP would be ok, too. _________________
