Can't you just hold it down with a rubber band and then when you don't need it pause the game and take it off? that's what my friend did at least.

Correct, a classical acoustic was used for the intro in the studio recording. At least there is someone who has their facts straight. They probably use a keyboard onstage because it's easier and they are most likely to drunk to play it right. (Dragonforce rulz)
