Weird Bug: Sync delay at starpower activation

I was playing Cliffs of Dover on PS2, when I activated the Starpower and suddenly the song went out of sync, you know, music delayed, like if there was echo...
Earlier it had happened something similar to me a few times, but always after pausing the game, only then.
It's the weirdest thing GH has done to me.

And despite of that I beat my high score on the song. Damn, I could have done even better!

Guess I'll finally get an XBOX... I'm getting tired of the PS2 Random Bug Factor.
