In what position do you play?

I have nice carpet, so I just sit on my ass and play.
This does make wailing for SP a bit difficult, though.

When Guitar Hero was in the living room of my apartment, I would sit in my video rocker and play, which was okay for most songs, but for some of the more difficult songs--which used to be No One Knows on Hard

-- I would sit on my carpeted floor or prop myself against one of the living room chairs.

Moved Guitar Hero into my bedroom when my roommates moved out, so now I usually either sit against the wall of my bed, or sit away from the wall slightly so I can get better leverage on star power and the strum bar.

Currently trying to figure out a way to hit the select button without screwing myself up majorly. I wish the select button was in a different place, but I know that would've probably made the game quite a bit easier as far as placing star power in the right place.

I sit on by bed, facing my movie theatre of a screen o_o One leg usually on the floor off to the side. I use the select button for SP so wailing isn't a problem for me. I hardly move when I play XD

If I am playing Hard or an Expert song with an SP strategy that requires accurate use of SP, I sit on my bed, using Select for SP.

Most of the time, I stand and tilt the guitar for SP.

in our dorms, its illegal to play anyway except standing up...even for easy songs
