RPGs are my favorite genre. I just recently finished Dragon Quest 8, and I just bought Star Ocean: Till the End of Time.

Some of my past favorites: Xenogears, Xenosaga, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, Final Fantasy 2-3 (american numbering), Lufia 2, Tales of Symphonia.

i've surprisingly never played earthbound, my brother said it was gay though. And for pokemon? Geez, i haven't played that game in years, but it was an RPG so that element made it pretty cool

I've noticed that there really arent many aweful RPG's... there are mediocre ones, but unlike other genres there aren't an abundance of craptapular ones.

Personally I prefer strategy games, especially turn-based ones like CIV.

I am anxiously awaiting Spore for PC and Gran Turismo Vision for PS3.
