Hello to all
I am attempting to get this custom song thing working for my thirteen year old. I have followed all the different instructions I have found on this thread to no avail. I found some instructions on youtube as well and I just cant seem to be able to load the songs to the conversion tool. I have an mp3 and a midi file of the same song. I also made sure that the tags are set up. I am including the log entries with the hopes that one of you kind souls can help me with this issue. Thanks in advance,

Please use MaXKiller's GH3 Control Panel. His seems to work simpler than Tom's, no offense or anything like that Tom. :o |

Um, yea i have no idea what to do with .rar files. Does this come in any other format? I really don't feel like downloading a bunch of crap to deal with .rars  |

Just use GH3CP instead. It's better.

Or if you do want to use this, get 7-Zip so you can open the .rar file. It's not that hard, it's not "a bunch of crap", it's just one program. You'll probably want to get 7-Zip anyway so you can open all the .rar's that are so common here.

Please Help my songlist editor is not working.
i get an unhandled execption but i cannot even look at the songs anymore. the error comes up when i try to open the data folder.
this is what was in the log.

| Perhaps I missed something... I've created a bunch of custom charts with various lighting effects and band action cues in Feedback. I converted the .chart files using Chart2Mid and then imported them into the game using this program. When I play the charts in Guitar Hero 3, the effects and cues do not occur. In case it matters, I play the Mac version of GH3 and use Boot Camp to run Feedback, Chart2Mid, and the setlist editor. Oh and I'm quite sure I used the effects tags properly in Feedback - I have been following an effects guide. |

Currently theres no support for GH3 events ecept for guitarist and bassist
