fair enough, i guess i just was kinda fanboyish and assumed someone like foy or jsb AAAed a 10 first. |

No problem, I understand it's a hefty claim. If you talk to JBoy he would be able to verify it, though, we're good friends and I've played against him in tournaments a few times.
It's absolutely insane how good JBoy got after I quit. I still can't fathom a PSMO AAA without the bar. _________________

i know jboy from AIJ(not on a personal level, i think you know what i mean, just some small convos and a ddrecall challenge or two), so if you refer me to him i'll assume legitness on your part.
yeah, psmo AAA no bar is insane. have you seen his boss rush episode 4 vid? FCing HVAM, psmo, and chaos heavy back to back no bar, then 2 NCs in FAXX and failing HDV in the runs at the end? its insane. |

i've been playing less seriously in the past few weeks and been doing mostly sight reading and building stamina and yesterday i did a Random All on Double; got Max 300, and according to like 4 "knowledgeable" players AAed it. i'm gonna try again tomorrow just the song and see if i can get a photo worthy AA |

Dumb luck, I think. I wasn't really trying that hard on PS. I don't play DDR that often at all. I could easily AAA the game if I put effort into it, but I have reason to care as long as I have an ITG2 machine right next to the local DDR machine.
I got 1 on Legend of Max last weekend, though. In the slowdown, no less. That one hurt to get.
In other news, more ITG accomplishments from a little while ago:
Delirium - 99.33% (1ex in the runs, terrible intro, will improve)
Oasis - 99.70% (7ex, 1gr, damn it)
Robotix - 99.62%
Utopia - 99.42%
Driving Force Classical - 99.83%
Wanna Do - 99.85%

I love how you say that like AAing a song puts you oh-so-close to AAAing it, especially where Sakura is concerned. The gap between a AA and a AAA is the hardest gap to close. |

thats the fucking truth. especialy on your first few AAAs when you still get excited/nervous and screw up, and you end up with 0 greats 1 good or 1/2 greats in the end or something. that shit freaking sucks. and even after you get past that, closing the AA->AAA gap on songs like i feel..., cartoon heroes, vanity angel, xenon, etc. is a pain in the ass. then take pads into consideration. as much as people hate to say it, pad greats happen. you step, you see nothing, and a second AFTER you step you get a great, rather than the perfect when you step. AAAs can be a pain in the ass. |

Homeversion --->
flagged Xenon couple days ago
5 greats Burning Heat (yeah it sucks)
...can't think of anything really good besides that. I got a couple more AAAs, but they weren't anything hard enough to even comment on.
my recall if anyone cares (yes I lock the scores):
