I'm a freshman in highschool and this year a science/computer teacher decided to start an informal "gamers club", with meetings once or twice a month, and each meeting has a different "featured game". The first night in was the new Wii a bit after it first came out. Yesterday, it was Guitar Hero!! Woo-hoo! Anyways, it's amazing to see how many people showed up...average of 60 students from 9th-12th grade showed up for each nights...other teachers volunteer to supervise kids in different classrooms and overall it's really cool. Anybody else have anything like this at their school? _________________

My high school was puny and conservative. As if they would even think about doing anything as awesome as that. _________________

Yeah the head teacher's the technology guy and he knows everything about web programming and science and all that stuff..plays GH sometimes at the end of class for us to watch every now and then...nice guy, and there's some social studies/science etachers that help out at our "meetings" and play along often too. Cool teachers. _________________
