|
|
Audio Surf is a PC-based, Amplitude-similar game in which you travel along a song's length on a "highway" collecting blocks/notes to gain points. The notes are generated by analyzing the song's tones and other variables. You can use any song on your computer, and there are online leaderboards for every song!
Right now, they just finished their weekend beta, but the full release is expected sometime in February.

The moment you have been waiting for is here! Audio Surf is now out to purchase on Steam for $9.95. If you buy it before Friday, you can save a buck! _________________

They releases a beta version over the weekend (for the weekend only), but took the servers down mid-Sunday due to overload. Then "Anonymous" found a way to get around the server problem, but as of this morning they have stopped that from working, too.
So now you can only play three songs before having to install the game again. =/ _________________

I must admit, this is possibly the best game I've played in a long time. |

The 2nd weekend beta is up for those that missed it the first time (i.e., me)
Pretty darned fun. The tempo changes are actually pretty visceral. _________________

It's up, but the servers must be down or something because it's not working. _________________

It is, just go on and put your email in, then once you receive the email, then download it from the given link, and then play it! It's pretty good, and it has great graphics! _________________

This game is awesome. To bad they didn't actually increase the limit to 25 minutes like the email said they did, because I wanted to play 2112. |
