Thank god, its just like how it used to be in DDR, when people used speed mods in tournaments, now its just standard to use speed mods, hopefully people will now start seeing the usefulness in speed mods. _________________

It's not that people don't see the usefulness, it's that people see it listed under a "cheat" menu, or that you have to enter a special code to use it. If it was simply an option that could be turned on or off in a normal menu, there would be no issue. It's a problem with labeling. _________________

1) You're using numbers in place of words.
2) You're spelling at the second grade level.
3) You're posting in CAPS.
4) This post is in the wrong place, and should have been in Software.
Conclusion: Custom songs are not your "cup of tea", and I'd suggest undertaking a much more simpler hobby. Perhaps tree watching. |

this.
and i'm glad it's somewhat official now. in my opinion, it's not a cheat. it shouldn't be labeled as a cheat. and people should be able to utilize it anywhere if they please. yay neversoft. _________________

Good to see the US rhythm game world is starting to catch up with what the JP rhythm game world figured out 10 years ago.
I don't really play GH3 much anymore anyways. :/ |

And so the spoke; and the people listened.
Nice to know it's not cheating, considering a lot of the best players use it! |

Dude if you can't play without hyperspeed you're obviously not as good as somebody who can play with out it. If you really cant' comprehend the notes fast enough to hit them without spreading out the note chart why are you playing?? |

Did you seriously just create an account to post an incendiary bit like that in an official announcement thread? Particularly the one where Neversoft made an official statement that HS is not considered a cheat?
There's no sense to this argument. It's all about preference. Just let it go. _________________

The only part I disagree with regarding the score submission on that site is the ability to put a note next to the score whether or not hyperspeed was used, as the people who are going to be stuck in their ways will consider the score to be invalid. _________________
