Agreed. If it's not a cheat, why does a distinction need to be made between it and normal speed scores? |

Omg finally. Ok it was really making me mad when it said Hyperspeed was a cheat.. want to know definition of a "Cheat"?
"A code (also known as a cheat code) used in video games to give a better advantage of beating the game."
Does hyperspeed give an advantage on beating the game? i dont think so. |

You can't if you're plaing on PS2. That being said...
Step 1: Get an XBLive, PSN, or Wii online account. If you have that...
Step 2: Get an account at guitarhero.com
Step 3: In the game, go to the online menu, and in one of the sub-menus it'll give you a serial number. Take that number to guitarhero.com and go to "Link accounts" and enter your number.
Step 4: Play while signed in to your system's online network. Your scores are automatically posted. _________________

Meh... from a PS2 user...
But I'm gratefull for Chris's finally ending the pointless debate on Hyperspeed. IE: it's officially not a cheat; rather a way you view the game.
Thank god, as it's really been pissing me off lately. Who cares really what speed you read notes at? Frankly I have more fun trying to pass the note charts than bitching about how they were constructed. Thanks Chris a lot for what you've done for GH, really GHIII.
I can't wait for the next volume of Guitar Hero, and hope that the PS2 will still be able to get an expansion disc when it comes out (ie: Full Boss Battles). Either way... please don't forget us PS2 users. Thanks =) _________________

There is no distinction that's going to be made...Chris never said that and I don't see why yall even thought that it was going to be noted next to Hyperspeed scores.
P.S. That dam NAVY ad at the top is pissing me off!! |

This is why I don't use GH.com's forums.
Awesomeness as far as shutting the hyperspeed haters up, though I'm sure they'll still try and nitpick, even if God himself came down and said it wasn't a cheat. _________________
