I suffered my first Wii-related injury today.

Haha... except it wasn't really that funny.

Accidentally hit myself in the back of my left (non-throwing) hand with the remote while bowling in Wii Sports. It hurt a bit, but then I decided to play GHII for 2 hours.

...I'm still okay though.

I've hit myself in the head doing Hammer Throw in MonkeyBall
A friend punched the back of the couch in wii bowling
Numerous hits on elbows in wii tennis
Two friends punched each other's fists in wii boxing

*Shakes head* I will never understand the Wii controller. I mean, the whole remote-style pointing thing for "realism" would've been really cool as like, an add-on controller used for certain games, but having it as the default controller for the system? Yeah...I'll pass. In fact, I think I'll just pass on next gen gaming altogether. The Wii's controller is stupid, the PS3 is too expensive, and the 360 is...Microsoft. And they're all basically aimed at HDTV and/or Blu-Ray and/or online gaming, none of which are things I plan on having anytime in the near future.

Sorry about the little rant, I got a bit off-topic there.

No! But I plan on doing it eventually. (first vote on that one!)

I haven't hurnt myself... yet! but i know it's almost an inevitability...

I have however hit the ceiling with my wiimote playing tennins... and i'm surprised that i even did that! I did tone it down after that, but i can totally see where all of these accidents are coming from.

It doesn't matter if you nicked your pinky or wound up having to have an arm amputated, an injury is an injury.
