Question about ARK file

Hi,
I tried burning a custom disc today, and for all intents and purposes, it was correct (3.x gb), but when I inserted it back into my laptop, the ARK file no longer showed in the GEN file. Is this normal? Just curious, Thanks, Jason

No, that's not normal.
I'm assuming it didn't work in the PS2?
