I KNEW YOU HAD A FIFTH FINGER!
How do you hit solo 1 of R&R? Its just a mess of notes >_> |
Doesn't everyone have 5 fingers? |
4 fingers and a thumb nub. |
The thumb is a finger too; it's a special finger with two bones instead of three bones which our other fingers have.
I looked it up because i was about to say the same thing yesterday.

HA, how do you go from GH2 to 3 and back again so easily? I'd love to play GH2, but because of the HO/PO system I can't play it, if you know what I mean. Because you went from like 2 to 3 once when you played a bit of TTFAF, then you played the shit out DWDTG and the next day you were playing Trogdor. Do you have ANY difficulty going back and forth or does your epicness give you no problems? So any tips to playing GH2 better would be very appreciated. |

There is a little bit of difficult at first, especially with hyperspeed 4 being used in GHIII, but it really takes me around 30 minutes to an hour to adapt back to GHII again. What I notice the most about playing the two games is where I'm staring at the screen. In GHII, I'm staring basically where the notes explode. In GHIII, I'm looking half way up the fret board because of the speed of the notes on HS 4. _________________

Do you ever play Rock of Ages? If so, what do you do to hit that last insanity in "Wha' Happened"? My hand is not fast enough for that crap lol. Do you tap this, or just go with one hand? _________________

Hey Hellashes, you might remember me from questioning through messages on youtube. I have another question... I DONT GET THIS! Is the number under each note which finger you use for it? What do the numbers in red mean? Some one explain, or is there a key some where on the page I dont know about? I've never seen any Scorehero forums besides this one.

I've never played it, or ever even seen the chart before.

I one hand it all. It's mostly just 2 fingers and sliding though.

Good idea. I'll make a key for that. I'll post it here for you.
Key:
*Strumming and HOPOs Here* h=HO/PO u=upstrum d=downstrum
*Frets are here*
*Fingering is here* 1=index 2=middle 3=ring 4=pinky Red numbers mean tapping.
Example:
dududududuhhhh

I can help you out here: The numbers under the note are the fingers you use, you're correct. 1=Index, 2=Middle, 3=Ring, 4=Pinky. So you might see something like this:
1242124
The red ones are tapping fingers, where you fret with both hands. 1=Index, 2=Middle, and in rare cases you might see your ring finger come into play. For tapping sections, they'll just look like regular ones but with some colored red for tapping:
131131131
As for a key, that kind of format is basically universal around here. You'll see it almost anytime someone asks how to hit a certain section, or how to tap a certain section.

Also, for going from GH3 to GH2, what do you recommend as good warm-up songs to adapt to the HOPO's? Any help is much appreciated, thanks. |
It make look crazy, but it's actually just ascending triplets.

And as mentlucas said, Less Talk More Rokk is probably the best song to work on HO/POs. For warm ups, DON'T start on tough songs. Your fingers will get tired quickly and your top playing ability for the day is ruined. Start with songs that have moderate strumming and lots of scales. (Stuff that has or similar to this.) _________________
