Hello, I have a question about whammying. How do I whammy right? When I look the optimal star power paths (no squeeze), Slow ride or Can't be saved for example, my star power never last as long as it does in the optimal paths. I'm sure I'm activating it at the right time, not too early. I'm also trying to start whammying as early as I can and not to stop it before the hold ends. I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong, could you tell what is the right technique to whammy? And I'm just talking about GH3.
Thank you |

Hey I have a quick question about BATH solo D.
I've recently learned to hit this using the HOPO's and I start on an up strum.
Etc.
u d u h d u h d u
This is going well but its really hard to activate starpower when starting on an upstrum, I'm wondering did you do this starting on an upstrum or is there an easier way?
Thanks _________________

HA already posted his fingering for the ascending scales in blackest waves back on page 19 in that big ass post. |

I always fail at Freebird Solo I. Which part? Both.
and
Help?
And btw, I use my index, middle and pinky fingers so if you could do it so the fingering is with 1, 2 and 3 that would be appreciated. (No 4) |

Hey I noticed your sweep practice tab and I have been learning to sweep, I can sweep 8th notes but I think I need a new fingering technique. What is yours? _________________

well, I dont know about HA (If I can he can) but I can hit 2 notes of the fast trill section in SWTA without tapping, that's enough time to bring your hand up to double tap so... maybe that's why? |

With GH3, there is no early whammy (strumming a note early and whammying it early) so you don't need to worry about that. What you did need to worry about it in GH3, you need to whammy harder than you do in GH2. If you stop whammying for just a split second, you miss some SP. Also, what I tend to do to whammy fully is push my whammy down as soon as I strum, then begin to whammy up and down.

Maybe start on a down strum? But if you're already doing the upstrum thing, try tilting instead of using select.

The same thing I do for any crazy fast trill such as BiM, or RaBl. Start with one hand, and swap quickly.
Example:

Your pinky is actually 4 and your ring finger is 3. So I'll do the descending quad like that.
G:
4211
If that is too hard to do, the only option is to start using your ring finger.

Wrong thread, but I'll answer it anyway. Just watch some of my videos and see how my hand is going along on the sweeps. I really can't describe how I do it, so you just gotta go from the videos. _________________

First of all sorry for posting tips on your faq thread. But I got a very good fingering for someone who's bad on ascending triplets like me.
I tapped it!

TAP 1= index 2= middle 3= ring 4= pinky _________________
