I worked on this problem tonight and it's not going to be a simple task. It may be a while before I get it working for the FF betas.
Technical answer: The script I found on the Internet for loading javascript files via greasemonkey is bunk under FF 3.0. I need to toy around with this for a while before I find the right answer to the question of how to load the javascript files I need to add the menus. If only these files were referenced in the original page source...
Edit: Okay, I got the js files loading in such a way that the whole thing doesn't explode, but it *still* doesn't work, and now it's no longer throwing an error so there's no easy leads. Blah.
I don't know how much time I want to devote on getting this to work for two reasons:
1. FF 3 is BETA, therefore not finished. I don't like chasing the dragon, I'd rather just catch up with it when it's sleeping.
2. The part that's failing now isn't my code but the YUI library. YUI explicitly says they won't work on adapting code to beta products (see: FF3).
In other words, I think the FF3 users are SOL for the time being, mostly because I suspect this is a YUI problem and not my fault. |

Oh well, guess us FF3 users will have to wait. This is still pretty cool. |

Moved to Website Discussion.
It will get more attention in Website Disc. Besides, the Software forum is more specifically for Guitar Hero customization software. Some SH users don't bother with the Software forum, and I'd like to see this get more exposure than the realm of Software users. _________________

Wow this actually is fantastic. Long gone the days when you had to click on about 4 links to enter a score! |

Well, looks like you've made me go and install FireFox. It seems as though the slow application loading time has been fixed and there are less sites that look buggy in FireFox now. Suppose it was high time!
Great work on the script rkcr. Thanks.
EDIT: One thing I noticed is that there is a different font on the main page than on the forums for the YUI menus. Not a big issue, but looks odd at first glance.
My favorite part of this is that the Manage Scores is accessible from the forums now. _________________

Woah, looks awesome... I really wish Firefox was compatible with Vista.
I vastly prefer XP, I'd rather have additional features instead of a few pretty themes that I can easily add into XP anyway. _________________

This is amazing. You have cut my link-clicking time to a fraction of what it used to be!
Really, nice work . |

The first thing I did when I got my new laptop (with Vista) was to download the Firefox installer. It informed me that it wasn't compatible. _________________

This is awesome. A lot less clicking.
I have a suggestion: Put a link to the leagues page. |
