This whole forum topic has been really helpful and I've been writing a midi, I have run into some problems with tempo though. I know where the tempo change needs to be put, and I put them in using the F10 feature, but after I edit it in Anvil and transfer it to GHex the first tempo is there but the change doesn't transpose to GHex. Oh and I am using GP5.

Well first of all, you shouldn't need Anvil anymore, since GHex adds all the appropriate tracks and adds an [end] event to the midi. Just name the track you're editing in GP5 "PART GUITAR" and you'll be gold. As far as tempo goes... you might have to be more specific, because as long as you use the Mix Table (F10) to insert tempo changes and not the "bmp = " button it should be fine. Maybe post some screenshots or something. Try bypassing Anvil and see if that helps. Export from GP, import to GHex. Good luck, respond with more info or questions.

P.S. Or you could just use FeedBack.....

I hate to break it to you, busby, but if you want to make a chart, you're going to have to do quite a bit of manual work. There is no magic solution. In all honesty, it's more work trying to use GP5 to even chart the notes, let alone the nightmare of trying to sync the notes. Just use Feedback; it will save you so many headaches.
