Guitar Hero Memory Card Save Corrupted?

It happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I had just completed Career Mode on Medium and just BARELY passed "Bark At The Moon" (although I can play it much better now!). When I tried to play the game a couple of days later, it told me that my save was corrupted. I then went to the store and bought another memory card since the one I had was five years old. Since then, I've had no problems with loading my saves. I also went through Career Mode on Medium again and played even better than before!
