after i add main.hdr to ghex i get this:



there's nothing such as "songs" directory.

You have to copy the .HDR and .ARK files off of your Guitar Hero disc and on to your computer's hard drive.

I did this and i unset read-only option for all files in it but that didnt change anything.

try copying it directly form Ghex instead of just copying it. or do you know if you are moving it or copying it.

I copied the files using gdex. Now I have something called "d:\hede" (the place where I copied the files) and again there are no directories inside it (you cant expand it). If you click on it, you get a menu with "extract" option which throws an exception.
I'm completely stuck.

I use windows xp sp2 and .net framework 2.0.

I've tried to down load CDDVD Generator by JRLS and Apache in a lot of different websites and they always get downloaded in .rar and i cant open them or install them. What can I do? please help

ok im doing dvd dycrptor route and when ever i put the .000 .001 etc files into the iso builder it finishes in within 3 seconds and doesnt create a file. why??

Sure it does, because in the guide, there's a complete description of how to use DVD Decrypter!

As well as 3 other burning programs!

I keep getting this pop up that says that it cannot copy the file main_0.ark into the folder because of a cyclic redundency check. How do i make it work? :-(

total noob question coming up....am i going to need a mod chip for my ps2 still? i am not completely techology illiterate, but after reading through the guide, its not mentioned once, which has me wondering...any help would be greatly appreciated...and also thumbs up to all here added fuel to the rock fire that is guitar hero!
