that most of the new punk bands lately sound almost identical? Ie: Sum 41, New Found Glory, Blink 182, Bowling For Soup.

Sum 41 got together in '96
NFG - '97
Blink - '92
BFS - '94

most bands are, or over 10 years old, Blink have split, Angels and Airwaves sound not bad, but not much of a fan.

Come to think of it, ive not heard much from the other bands

better watch who you call those bands punk to as well. To some of my friends those would be fighting words; of course to some of my friends hello is a fighting word...

I guess the point I'm trying to make is punk music is staring to sound like it was created by an army of whining drones.
