Another week where I can see I belong one league down if I want to compete I thought my CYHMK score would rank higher... it was only 99% , not an FC... but I thought in A2 it woiuld rank higher.
Surprisingly my low COWS score did NOT finish last... it finished second to last though and for the amount of time I spent trying to improve on that song, it just really wasn't worth the effort for 2 points. On pretty much every song throughout the league I've had really significan't personal best improvements... but this was not the case for COWS. I only improved a few thousand points and just couldn't get better no matter what I did.
I don't like Jordan. Hard, easy, medium, expert... i think it sucks. it's like someguy stuck a bucket on his head to cover both his eyes and ears and just threw random notes together that he couldn't see or hear and Jordan is the result :P Ok great, so they made a song tough to play, if the song sucks what good is it?
I didn't like the twist on Woman this week either... but it didn't really hurt me becasue i'm not very good at the song. I was really happy though with my improvement on it, even limiting myself to 70 note streaks I beat my old best high score significantly and I could've beat it bny a lot more if I hadn't been intentionally breaking combos.
Overall I had fun with league play, but next season I definately need to drop down one level so that I can actually compete. I think I'd have made the playoffs (though probably not one of the top 4 spots) in A3, but wasn't really very close in A2. |

Wow, that is kind of aggrivating. If only I could have known I would win Woman by over 10k I could have spent less time on that and more time on CoWS and possilby gotten the first for this week. O well it was a jolly good time. If only I would have signed up earlier I could probably be in the play offs Any way, good job to everyone and good luck in the play offs. |

Damn. I should've tried more this week.
Oh well. Seeded 2nd means I get to wait a while before losing to Cats. _________________

Umm, I guess I misjudged what scores I needed to make the playoffs. I log on to see whether I made the jump from 15th place into the playoffs and see my name on top of A3 for this week. Cool.
Now, as for the homework I need to catch up on ... |

Just a quick note.
I want to thank all of you in league A for being tolerant and being good sports. Especially those of you who submitted scores every week. No other league can boast the HUGE discrepency in talent that this one had...yet there was no serious complaining and you guys took it all in stride..even when it became clear (in A1 anyway) that some players were miles ahead of others. I hope you guys stick it out next season and hopefully, you'll feel more competitive. I know there was a high drop rate in A1, and I think the skillset discrepency played a part.
Finally, I would like to congratulate, and put in a big thanks to the following players:
Cynthius, NetStormer, Morgan, Heddon2, Kajota, AxeMoney, Wiver3 and
acc.
*round of applause*
These guys, for better or worse, were never real playoff contenders for their division, yet for 4 straight weeks, they did their best and submitted their scores on time every week. You guys at the middle/top would not have scored so many points if it were not for the dedication of these guys. _________________

I think league A should give you a collective round of applause as well for dealing with the huge disrepancy problem with calm and common sense, and probably for being just an excellent commissioner all-around. I didn't see any other league (save AAA) have week results links on the "Week [X] Songs Posted" thread, saving us the trouble of sifting through constantly shifting threads.
So it might end up just being me, but *round of applause* _________________

Thanks Rabies, for the great season. You did an excellent job running this league and thanks for taking the time to do it. Can't wait for the playoffs, and good luck to everyone involved.
Surprised I won Jordan this week, and BTW, what IS the SP path for CYHMK? |
