extra notes?!?!?!?!

I couldn't find anything on this, or maybe i overlooked it, but notes seem to be missing from songs when i play them. The note are there in Ghex, but not when they are actually being played some notes just aren't there.
(this is using other peoples songs...not my own)

Someone please explain why this is or tell me where i can find out.

Notes are required to follow a number of rules (detailed in the "Note Handling" section of the MIDI and VGS Details sticky), and if they do not, the game will invalidate them and not show them.

What version of GHex are you using? As far as I know, the latest version should be pretty good in this regard, but kata can confirm.

I'm using Ghex 3.1 (the newest one)

All those note rules are confusing me because i don't make songs.

I was just hoping there was a quick fix. I guess I'll try to get a different version of the .mid or something.

I'm not sure I fully understand the original post, but ghex can show invalid notes (if there are any, check the numbers at the bottom.)

Don't wanna be a wizkid but maybe telling wich midi's the deal could help. And maybe posting a link to the midi (See: rules for reasons)

the .mid that I'm using are Sargoth's

river dragon by nevermore
and
through fire and flame by dragonforce
