custom track dont sound the same?

when i press the proper note i hear the guitar sound in a louder sound with normal gh2 song which tell me im hitting the right key. With custom it does not do that. did i forget to do something?

that's because the songs that ship with the game have multiple sound channels. Also, the guitar channels were mixed at a slightly higher volume than the rest so you could hear it better. Most custom song authors don't have the nice seperate channels for the song to work with, they have to use the pre-mixed version of the song.
