The EB by me has tons of retro games. Gamestop and EB do carry them, you just have to find which ones. Make sure to ask too, because they aren't typically out on display. _________________

Look in pawn shops is the best shot.
We have a store (rockin 30 games) where they carry everything from atari 2600 to PS3 and wii.
Ebay, and maybe amazon could get you some.
If your sneaky like me, use an emulator and roms, though, they are a bit illegal , and the feel is different, playing on a keyboard. _________________

There's an up and coming chain store that I used to frequent when I lived in NJ, called Play n Trade. It reminded me of Funcoland, only the prices weren't as good. Still a decent place to check though if you have one in your area. |

Most of the GameStops have stopped buying and selling SNES and NES games now. They are gonna stop Buying and Selling Nintendo 64 and Playstation games this July |

Too bad they won't stop buying every other game chain while putting the non-chains out of business.
edit: Just stopped by my local Game Crazy this afternoon (the one I keep forgetting exists... hooray for empty strip malls! ) and the first thing I saw was a rack with NES and N64 carts. Caught me by surprise, it did. _________________

We have a place nearby called Game Xchange that specializes in the old stuff. I don't know if it's a chain or not, though....
They also do repairs, and were able to fix my lightning-struck PS2, as well as a few games that had become unplayable from scratches (FF9 and ESPN NFL 2k5 among them). Nice little place. |
