Question about Unlock Cash

I've been trying to figure out some stuff about the unlockables in GH. Specifically, I've been trying to figure out how much money you can get by 5-starring everything, and if that's enough to get all the unlockables, including those that are unlocked everywhere when you buy them (i.e. songs and videos). I know right now that 5-stars on Medium get you $650, which totals up to $19500, but I can't remember how much you get from opening up a new venue/finishing the game (on that difficulty level). I also don't know how much you get in Hard and Expert.

Basically, I'm trying to figure out if I should just leave unlocking some of the bonus songs until I get to Hard/Expert. I don't want to get them all if it keeps me from getting all the stuff that doesn't carry over (i.e. Characters, Guitars, Skins). If anyone can help me out, that'd be great.

By the way, I've figured out the total costs for each type of unlockable based on info from GameFaqs. They are:

Characters: $13000
Guitars: $4650
Skins: $5650
Songs: $4450
Videos: $1000
for a grand total of $28750.

It is possible to buy everything in the shop for each difficulty, except easy of course, without 5 starring every song. You should remember that what you buy only pertains to the difficulty that you bought it in, so if you buy a bonus song on Medium, it won't be in the playlist for Hard or Expert.

Sorry I don't have any exact numbers for you, it doesn't really matter to me.

i know that if you 5 star everything on medium, after you buy everything you will have $350 left, so i am assuming it is the same in hard and expert.. you didnt factor in that after you beat the five songs in each venue you get extra money for that, so you dont just get $650 for each 5 star. what the total is i dont know but you should def. have enough money to buy everything once you five star every song.

I've haven't gone back to 5-star everything on Medium, but I have 5-starred everything on Hard and Expert and after unlocking everything I've got $1,000 remaining on both Hard and Expert.

Well it would make the most sense that it would even out in the end, since adding extra money for you to spend when they're isn't anything to buy seems pointless.

I just double-checked my shop and I have definately bought everything available.. and still $1000 remains.

Just kidding, I have no idea what is wrong with the inconsistency. $0, $350, $1000, how much are you supposed to have left over?

You only buy the videos once, which cost $1000 total.

no, he's saying that if you unlock them in one difficulty, then you don't need to buy them in another difficulty. They are already selectable in the main menu
