QFT. As much as I hate the star spangled banner itself, Hendrix did a damn good job making it his own.
But I'm all for any free DLC. The Halo theme was the only real miss for Free DLC IMO, everything else was great, especially DKM. _________________

thanks Neversoft for nothing | And here we have a classic example of someone bashing Neversoft for absolutely no reason at all. |
But without these fucking morons we would have nothing to laugh at so i say let them ramble or get them to make a fucking Song and stick it on GH |

TOP GUN ANTHEM” TO LAND ON GUITAR HERO® III: LEGENDS OF ROCK AS FREE DOWNLOADABLE CONTENT FOR FOURTH OF JULY
SANTA MONICA, CA – July 1, 2008 – Grab your RIO and fire up the F-14 for the announcement today of a special Fourth of July treat for Activision, Inc.’s (Nasdaq: ATVI) Guitar Hero III®: Legends of Rock fans. Beginning July 3, 2008, the legendary, GRAMMY® award-winning “Top Gun Anthem” will be available as a free downloadable song for the game.
The instrumental, guitar-heavy theme written by Harold Faltermeyer was immortalized in the hit film that inspired a generation of young men to awkwardly serenade women at bars, perform perfectly-timed “flipside” high fives and threaten to “buzz the tower.”
The song will be available as a free download to Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock mavericks and their wingmen everywhere for Xbox LIVE® Marketplace for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and in the PLAYSTATION®Store for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system on July 3, 2008.

How much do they pay you to say things like that, Chris? | Chris didn't say that. AgoraDan did (check the OP Chris linked to us). _________________

So, Ill be honest when i saw the post i was thinking star spangled banner guitar hero'd out. I figured it was gonna be Steve O. redone.
However, I cant seem to find the association to 4th of July and Top Gun.
Now is this "Top Gun Theme" Danger Zone? Is it a remix or master? I cant remember this having a badass guitar part but ill listen to it online.
Edit: its not Danger Zone, and I hope to god they remake that theme.
Edit 2: I wouldve much rather taken Danger Zone. much more epic. _________________

Also, I would rather had Danger Zone too. _________________

OH MY GOD YES
I would kill for some Hendrix DLC. Make it happen CV, make it happen
EDIT: Oh yea, and the whole first two and a half minutes is the same basic thing repeating over and over again, but things get a little more spiced up after that, so I guess it's okay. _________________
