Were people using the green meter cheat for SYSB? Cause had I thought of it earlier I would have made it clear NOT to to that, seeing as that takes all the challenge out of this particular twist. And if you weren't then how did you get such high scores? Show us the way.

The green meter cheat doesn't affect your score, it just keeps you from failing no matter what happens.

It very well could affect your score though. You could miss the first X amount of notes in the song and then combo the rest, that way you don't have any combo breaks throughout.

What is the green meter cheat?

The way I did it was simple. I counted the number of notes I could miss at the beginning without failing the song. ( I think it was about 20). Then played the song until there were about 40 notes left and then I stopped playing. It took me about 4 or 5 tries to keep from going over. I got a FC between notes 21 - 554.

This obviously wasn't the best way because I only came in 3rd. It also worked fairly well for this song since there were only single notes at the beginning and end and I didn't skip any SP notes.

Hylian you can cross me off the list, I'm dropping out just because running the GH1 league is enough for me, and I'm obsessed about working on my GH2 scores.....I'm still gonna be in the GH2 B League next season though...(I'm hoping to see you there Ashes...)

Hmm. I hadn't thought of that.

I didn't think of that either..and all of my scores got owned anyway, I started playing GH II again because of my friends, however. This week, I shall be a force to be reckoned with.

That's EXACTLY what I did as well. You can let the 1st 20 single notes go until the G,G run starts and then FC the next 533 notes. Then you can let the rest go by until the end without the meter running out. I'll post the SP path later when I get the chance. For now tho' the pic proof is below.

I didn't use the cheat- what I did was hit the first 3 notes, miss the next 22, then jump in and pretty much FC it until the end, though for some reason I missed two in the middle and 5 extra at the end. But yeah, the green crowd cheat is ILLEGAL in case anyone doesn't know that- under Leagues in Forum, its the thread: Welcome to ScoreHero Leagues! FAQ Thread - READ ME FIRST!

Judging by the fact I am joint 5th, yet and am in the bottom half for those 2 songs I'd say my other scores must be better...

OK all, here is the method & SP path for 240k on SYSB @ 89%.

Firstly, as i said before, you miss the first 20 notes until the GG when you then start. The meter will be flashing red but you will be ok. From here you need to FC the next 533 notes (or maybe 534 but I stuck with 533 to be safe as didn't know whether it would round up to 90% or not), and also all SP holds need to be whammied.

SP PATH

3 SP's - Use straight away.
2 SP's - Wait until the triple notes sequence starts and after about 9? of these you get to a YYY before a BBY. On any of the Y notes activate SP and this will end just, and I mean just, before another SP appears.
3 SP's - Use straight away.
3 SP's - Use straight away.
3 SP's - Straight away, although the third of these is on a long Orange hold note. Don't bother whammying until the end as you won't have enough notes left of your 533 to use it all anyway. Instead activate SP as soon as available which is almost at the start of the hold & then you have about 20 more notes of SP which you can use before you have to stop and let the song play out (about 40 more notes). As the meter is full green at this point you can get away with not playing any more.

And there you have it - 240k(ish)

Hope this makes sense, and anyone who wishes to try this let me know what you get. Should also be able to use the same path for 100% FC as well, but just letting the last SP phase on the Orange note finishing before activating. Not tried it yet but should be a good path to use for a high score i reckon.

Hylian, you do realize that you just have to copy and paste the tables from SingleSongSummary and the Master sheet, right? There's no need to retype the resultd.
