Xbox 360 Memory Options

I was thinking about getting a Xbox 360, mainly because of the guitar hero coming out, but also because I want a next generation system. Anyway, I want to get one with a hard drive, but I also want to be able to take my profile and game data etc. to a friends house. I was just wondering if anyone knew if a USB jump drive would work for this purpose or if I would have to get a memory card.

well what i usally do, is just take my entire hard drive with me. the jump drive thing im not really sure about. i would assume it wouldnt work just because the memory cards wouldnt be very useful and they wouldnt want people who already have jump drives to not have to buy a memory card... if you see what im saying.

I either take my hard drive out and take it over to a friends house(Write your name on the hard drive), or you can spend some money to get a good old memory card
