Ive noticed that some mids require you to shorten up your mp3 because they either cut out part of the end or beginning.

I cant seem to find a good program to do this with. Is there some way gh explorer can?

technically you should be able to do this entirely in ghex, but there is a bug with negative offsets, and I don't trust them, so I generally just edit the midi instead by adding a measure or so, it makes the songs feel better too(notes don't fly at you right as the fretboard appears)

I use Sony Sound Forge 8, but it's somewhat pricey. I'd recommend Audacity if you wanted an open-source alternative.
