Oh, I didn't see the previous post. But I'd definitely like to participate, as long as it's reasonably close to the Ohio State Campus / downtown Columbus and not way out in the suburbs. I don't have a car down here so it'd be hard to get to the tournament unless it's in a centralized location. But I'd be up for helping to coordinate the tournament, recruiting some more non-ScoreHeroes to come, and playing in the tournament.

Awesome... And yes, definitely OSU area. I have plenty of friends in that area to make it a good centralized location. Do you live in dorms?

No, I live in a house on E. 11th Ave. It's about a 1 minute walk from campus.
Where do you live in Columbus?

I live pretty far away actually (Urbana, if you know it), but I go there frequently because all of my friends moved there. Most of them live off of High St. I was going to move to Dublin, but now it is looking like I'll be living a little further west (Marysville) as of October. I know where 11th Ave. is. I have some friends that used to live in Chittenden Ave.

Yeah, I have a friend from Urbana, so I have some idea where that is.
Do you know a lot of people who play GH in Columbus? I only know 2 others, so I don't know how big the tournament could be.

Really? What are the odds? Haha...
A bunch of my friends have it. My brother lives in Columbus and he plays it... I'm sure we could find people. It's just about figuring out how to get the message to people.

I've had a lot come up lately with trying to move and everything. I haven't looked into it for a while. I do have some places where I could have it hosted, though... It'll happen!

You're creeping up on me in Expert. I haven't played much lately. It'd be a pretty good match. Sometime before GHII would be good for a tournament. Or hell, we could even have a GHII tournament like the day it comes out or something. That'd be kickass.

That would be awesome.
And yeah, I've improved vastly in the big points/high difficulty songs. I get 280K or so on BatM almost every time now. And I 5* CFH every time now. The lowest score I've got on The Breaking Wheel in the past couple of weeks is around 320K. I really need to work on some SP strategies for songs like Caveman Rejoice. I'd like to make top 20 before the end of this month, but I don't see it happening.

I live about 20-25 minutes from Reynoldsburg, right outside of Pataskala. I know where the Best Buy on Morse Road is, I can't believe I missed the tournament... damn.

My brother (He's on here, too) actually lives in Reynoldsburg, but he isn't as diehard as I am about the game.
Anyway, a GH2 release party/tournament would be badass. It seems like Ohio has quite a bit of GH talent... I really need to get off my ass and look into this. We could always ask the Best Buy on Morse Road to throw the tournament. It would have to be on a TV without latency, though.
